The Etouffee Festival is a local celebration of the culture and food of south Louisiana.  The festival began as a fundraiser for the Little Flower School in 1985, and was initially established by the Knights of Columbus.  Since that time, the school has closed, but the church parish continues the tradition of the festival to help offset the costs of insuring the school buildings.  The buildings are still used by the parish for CCD, RCIA, Adoration Chapel, St Theresa Store, and other church related functions.

The festival features many great events, including carnival rides, live musical entertainment, food, and bingo.  Other activities include:

Mayor's Etouffee Cookoff - Saturday, April 29, 2017

The Mayor's Etouffee Cookoff features teams of area cooks and chefs that serve up their take on etouffee.  Past recipes have been known to feature wild game, seafood, vegetable, poultry, and of course the all time favorite - crawfish!  Prizes are awarded for Best Dressed team, Most Spiritied team, and Best Dressed Booth, in addition to Best Tasting.  Judging begins at 11:30 AM.  To register for this event, download the registration form.

Auto Show - Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

The auto show is open to all makes and models of vehicles.  Celebrity judges will judge this competition at 11:00 AM.  For more information and to register for this event, click here.

5K Run - Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 8:30 AM

This is the fourth year for our 5K run.  The run begins and ends in the center of the festival grounds.  To register for this event, click here.

Beauty Pageant

The beauty pageant is held at the Arnaudville Elementary School Gym located at 120 W Railroad Avenue in Arnaudville.  For more information and to register for the beauty pageant, please select from the following categories:

   

Saint Therese Boutique

Antique & vintage items for sale in a boutique setting.  Located in the Little Flower gym at 370 Main Street.  The boutique is open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 29th, and Sunday, April 30th.  Cash and checks only.

Vendor Booths

A limited number of vendor booths are available for rental on a first come, first served basis.  All vendors must be approved by the chair persons before booth rentals are confirmed.  For more information about booth rentals, please contact Jo Goscienski at 337-754-5950.
